Our parents continue to be a supportive asset to us by enriching our teaching and learning community at the Infant School Attributes Masterclass Assemblies. Here, they join the Infant School Vice Principal on stage to impact pupils and share their unique contributions in an interactive and dynamic masterclass. This week was no exception as pupils experienced a live songwriting masterclass with a focus on being creative. The masterclass featured a live performance by our MOBO Award-Winning Singer-Songwriter, Parent and Alumna, Ms Rhian Butah.
The objective of our master class assemblies is to inspire our youngest pupils by laying a lifelong foundation of commitment that encapsulates the 6 attributes of GIS. We believe that this will encourage them to embark on a reflective and visionary journey.
We continue to invite our pupils to imagine what kind of leader and life changer they would like to be by reminding them of the vast possibilities that different professions lead to and the role and power of the lifelong skills that our attributes help to develop. Our children gain access to the working process, skills and mindsets of the best experts and leaders from diverse industries and professions. They get to ask critical questions, contribute and reason compassionately, triggering their international mindedness and sense of social responsibility. Our Masterclass Assemblies are one of the highlights of our week and our children, teachers and parents value the impact that this experience makes.
