We are happy to announce that the following students Ousman Jobe (Lower 6th Form), Shambhavi Verma (Lower 6th Form), Leilani Rawlings (Form 4) and Nigel Sarpong (Form 4) will represent #GhaIntSch and Ghana at the 9th Annual International Emerging Leaders Conference; organized and hosted by the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia-USA.
GIS Marks Global Climate Strike Day
September 20th marks the beginning of a week-long #ClimateChange campaign. It’s #GlobalClimateStrike day and even though students were unable to leave school, they still joined people around the world to protest the lack of action by our political leaders regarding climate change. Students used their break time to demonstrate within the secondary school grounds.

Over 11,000 young people from across the Commonwealth entered the Commonwealth Queen’s Essay Competition. This year’s competition was themed ‘A Connected Commonwealth’ and entrants were asked to consider how they can work to use cultural, technological and environmental connections for positive change across the Commonwealth.
Upper Sixth Form students attend Kofi Annan Peace and Security Forum
GIS Upper Sixth Form students who are the key organizers for the upcoming #GISMUN2019 Conference attended the maiden edition of the Kofi Annan Peace and Security Forum held at the Movenpick Hotel on the 4th and 5th of September 2019.
We look forward to them excelling in their various roles during our #GISMUN2019 Conference.
