GIS students kick up support for “Boots for Charity” Drive
Kwabena Enti (Year 6) and Ekow Enti (Year 4), two brothers and students of Ghana International School (GIS), recently came up with an initiative dubbed “Boots for Charity” designed to collect used football boots, shin pads and trainers and donate them to the less privileged in our communities.

A graduate from the famous Mannes Jazz Program at the New School University is an eclectic trumpeter, music producer, arranger and songwriter who has featured on nearly 100 albums ranging from jazz, R&B, pop, gospel, blues and hip hop.
Keyon has worked with some of the world’s best artists and ensembles.
His works and collaborations have had numerous musical placements in film and TV including the Miles Davis Biopic “Miles Ahead” directed by Don Cheadle which received a Grammy award.
Keyon recently discovered his Ghanaian ancestry and has decided to embark on a journey back to the motherland. During this self-rediscovery sojourn to Ghana, he is expected to interact with members of the Ghana International School community.
His engagement with students is expected to inspire the 21st century learners to pursue their dreams in Music and the Arts in general.
