As part of hashtag#GISat70 Homecoming Week, our Social Responsibility Club returned to St. Joseph’s Basic School, Adabraka, where 20 Lower Secondary students stepped into the role of Teen Teachers.
Working with Class 3 pupils, our students guided small groups through a “Getting to Know You” writing activity, nurturing confidence, literacy, and creativity.
Launched in 2024, the Social Responsibility Club was created to give back to our community while helping GIS students grow as empathetic leaders. From lesson planning and classroom delivery to reflection, our Teen Teachers embody service, empathy, fairness, and respect — the very qualities of a true global citizen.
This partnership with St. Joseph’s Basic School continues to thrive, with a special focus on literacy this year. We couldn’t be prouder of our Teen Teachers and their commitment to shaping a brighter future through knowledge and care.
Thank you to our dedicated patrons, Ms. Grace Hanson and Mrs. Lydia Quansah, for guiding this beautiful journey.
