At GIS, we believe in creating meaningful experiences that inspire our pupils to explore their talents and build lasting connections. “D Day” was no exception!
Our Nursery pupils celebrated the letter “D” through an exciting carousel of activities, including dressing up, dancing, drawing, designing, and Lego play. These hands-on experiences weren’t just about fun—they encouraged creativity, teamwork, and joy in learning.
A highlight of the day was the involvement of our Lower 6th-form students, who mentored the little ones through storytelling, art activities, and even puppet shows. Their guidance and enthusiasm created a nurturing space for the Nursery pupils to bond, explore their interests, and be inspired.
Moments like these reflect our commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection—key pillars of our 2022-2025 Strategic Plan to develop alternative learning pathways that nurture every child’s unique gifts.
