A delegation from Cambridge International paid a courtesy visit to Ghana International School on Thursday, 27th April 2023. The Team was led by Juan Visser (Regional Director, Sub-Saharan Africa); and comprised of Efua Asiedu (Senior Manager, West Africa), Ayodele Weke (Schools Development Manager, West Africa), Imogen Poole (Sales & Marketing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa, CUP, Education & English) and Taiwo Ayoola, (Business Development Manager, West Africa, CUP).
They were received at the School by Mr Frank Amponsah-Mensah (Vice Principal Upper Secondary), Mrs Debora Tackie (Vice Principal Administration), Ms Ida Abbeyquaye (Vice Principal Lower Secondary), Ms Nadia Bruce-Muller (Vice Principal Junior School), Mrs Donna Gordon-Apeagyei (Vice Principal Infant School), Mr Stanley Yao Ayerson (Head of Admissions & International Partnerships) and Mrs Angela van der Puije (Secondary School SEN Coordinator).
The Visit forms part of Cambridge International’s periodic engagement and connection with member schools and provided a forum for rich discussion of shared interests and educational goals.
The Cambridge Team were in Ghana to attend the Cambridge Community Principals Forum, which was held on Friday, 28th April 2023 at the Holiday Inn Hotel. Our Vice Principal (Upper Secondary), Mr Frank Amponsah-Mensah was invited to be part of a panel discussion on Professional Development in Cambridge Schools.
