Decathlon Ghana, a French Sports equipment and Sportswear company in partnership with Ghana International School’s (GIS) Physical Education (PE) and Sports Department, donated footballs and an archery kit to enhance sports within the School Community.
Speaking at the Secondary School Assembly, Ms. Pamela Asare-Saforo, Human Resource Manager at Decathlon Ghana highlighted that the kind gesture was in line with Decathlon’s vision to make sports available to all.
Together with a representative of the School’s PE and Sports Department, she further went on to handover the items to Justin Adumako (Upper Sixth Form), Boys Sports Prefect. She went on to congratulate Mrs. Akoto, PE and Sports Teacher at GIS for introducing the Archery Club as one of the co-curricular clubs on offer to students for Terms 2 and 3, 2017-2018 Academic year.
