Our 2022 Leadership Day Programme was held at the Lakeside Marina Park on 5th March 2022. The fun-filled day was a great success. Every year in the Second Term, our Form 2 students are given an opportunity to exhibit their leadership skills and appreciate how leadership impacts lives. Our theme was Be Disciplined: The Way to Purposeful Leadership! We anticipated students learning the importance of being disciplined, and the route to purposeful leadership and we are confident that this was accomplished.
They learnt about the qualities of great leaders and how to make a positive impact. Our students’ level of engagement was inspiring, as they worked in teams, learnt about financial self-sufficiency and effective communication and through collaboration, used critical thinking and problem-solving skills while appreciating each other’s input towards understanding how purposeful leadership can be achieved in the contemporary environment.
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” John Maxwell’s definition of leadership aptly reflects how our students have been empowered with the tools for their growth into effective leaders.
