Most embarrassing moment: You would think to yourself Valentine’s day is the day of love but GIS girls have other plans but we move. “I like your confidence” still haunts me in my sleep. Also, you ever over-drip but your crush ends up not coming to school? Yeah, tears upon tears. The back of my trousers tearing and not noticing till like 2nd break. Coming last in my last 100m race( I caught a glimpse of a beauty that’s why).

Your GIS experience in one word: Indelible.
Best GIS memories: My first week in the school (it was like a movie to me but thank you to all who helped me settle in), the attention every plain clothes day(I won’t lie, it was sweet), when Elliot broke the prep room window( I’ll never forget that day), monopoly boys, Form 4 and 5 Geo trips, time spent with my day ones, manifestoes, Cassiopeia 2019, Sweet Lower in the blue shirt (it’s just hype), after-school games and constant banter with the boys.
Where do you think you will be 10 years from now: The future is always subject to change but one thing I am more than certain of is you will hear of me, Wall street you say?
That One person who inspired you during your time in GIS: Sipa Ackah Blay.
Best lesson GIS taught you: Never address shade from trees with no fruit and the world does not revolve around you.
What you want to be remembered for at GIS: Ever since I joined I changed the norm – from the way you carry yourself to looking good and always putting your best in everything you do. I was told by many that I won’t be Head Boy, they said even if I’d run I’d lose, the rest is set in stone. (E pain them!). Never give up, okay?

Best advice while at GIS and who gave it? : “Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you. The razor blade is sharp but can’t cut a tree; the axe is strong but can’t cut hair. What you will tell your 13-year-old self knowing what you know now: Self-analysis is key to growth. You need to know where you went wrong to figure out how to get right so do not fret whenever you’re overwhelmed by the obstacles that will surely come. When you’re tired, learn to rest, not quit. It’s always been what you don’t say so whenever you have the chance to speak let it be worthwhile. Finally, when you feel you’re in love, wash your face three times and save your money on Val’s day.
