Led by the Primary School wellness Team (Mrs Massa Awandare, Mrs Alberta Hayford and Ms Norah Asante) and in collaboration with the Vice-Principal of the Junior School, Ms Nadia Bruce-Muller, Miss Delali Ofosuhene, a 15-year-old and a Second-Year Junior High School (JHS) student of Light Academy in Adenta was invited to talk to Junior School pupils about the harmful effects of excessive sugar consumption. Having witnessed her grandfather painfully suffer from diabetes, Miss Ofosuhene doesn’t want anyone else to go through that. She, therefore, wants to make an impact in her community by convincing her family members and everyone around her to do their best to stay away from sugar due to its many harmful effects on the body. Pupils at the Junior school were attentive and were delighted to have her speak with them. #JuniorSchoolRocks #GIS #GhaIntSch #GhaIntSchCares #teaching #learning #healthylifestyle #diabetes #SaveTheChildren #eatclean #EatRight #sugarfree #staysafe #international #InternationalMindedness #education #stayalive #stayconnected
