A ten-member delegation comprising the Teaching and Administrative staff of GIS attended the first in-person Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) Conference since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Held at the Indaba Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 3-day conference from the 8th to 10th October 2022 was themed “From Surviving to Thriving: Designing for Belonging, Wellbeing, and Transformation”.
Homa Sabet Tavangar, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of global citizenship and encouraging the conference participants to learn from young people.
