Four words that describe you: Ambivert, Quaintrelle, Silly, Zealous
Your GIS experience in one word: Interesting…
Best GIS memories: Izzy dragging me to do “YouTube” videos with her on the days I don’t even look my best (thank you Izzy), in form 2 when Busayo and I got sent out of class for disturbing the class and laughing throughout the whole 2 periods we stood outside for no reason, Mr OK always blasting my class for our dullness and laziness (it was too funny whenever we annoyed him), Mr Ako’s class where he tells us about his high school romances, Merchant of Venice rehearsals where my goons and I will just be fooling and dancing all over (you know yourselves!), all that form 4 drama that escalated (hmm no comment), Aatikah and I doing last minute by-force cramming for an econs test in L6 cause we procrastinate all the time (herh the econs tests were a snake in disguise), deep life discussions with my guys (we act like we have gone through life aama, ei), my girls and I frequent outings and talks in the L6 classes or common room (you guys made GIS the best!), Izzy and Zaneta always reprimanding me and advising me (if not for them, I will be off track kraa-thank you guysss).
Where you think you will be 10 years from now: Enjoy my life, travelling all over the world with the love of my life, and making a whole lotta money running a well-established conglomerate. Be sure to check me out at Forbes 30 under 30 😉
That one person who inspired you during your time at GIS: Mr. Paul with his words of encouragement and believing in me all the time.
Best lesson GIS taught you: No matter what, it is only your opinion that matters the most so do whatever you want.
What you want to be remembered for at GIS: Against all the odds like having to accept myself as a hard-of-hearing individual, I didn’t let anything limit me from what I wanted to pursue.
Greatest achievement while at GIS: Being the prefect of a place I call home!
Best advice while at GIS and who gave it?: “Blessing, you can do it, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise”- Mr. Ameko.
What you will tell your 13-year-old self knowing what you know now: To always be myself and embrace my uniqueness; People will always have something to say so just ignore them, do whatever your heart wants, and continue to be your amazing self!
