Four words that describe you: Fierce, Unique, Honest, Enchanting

Your GIS experience in one word: Transformative

Best GIS memories: F3 and F5 Bio trips to the “luxurious” Chances Hotel. Yesss the F5 one in which our bus had an accident and for the rest of the trip we were too “traumatised” to study. UNO tournaments at the bleachers and classrooms. F2 and F3 UN Days especially tasting more like devouring food from every stall. Discussing controversial global issues while having lunch in the assembly hall. Being stuck in the assembly hall during a rainstorm. Mr. Domfeh’s VLE lessons (if you know you know) and many many more.

Where you think you will be 10 years from now: Living in a mansion…because by now either I have made a groundbreaking invention or I am the CEO of Microsoft.…in the city of my dreams sipping Bourbon and having a karaoke night with my family while I also plan my vacation/expeditions to Petra (Jordan), Pyramids (Egypt), Chittorgarh Fort (India), Angkor Wat (Cambodia) and many more places on my bucket list. Oh! Also, I am working on my IronMan…more like an IronWoman suit! Long story short I am living the life of my dreams.

That One person who inspired you during your time at GIS: Mrs. Angela Van der Puije…She’s a SuperWoman!

Best lesson GIS taught you: No matter what, always do what you truly believe is right even if the whole world stands against you.

What you want to be remembered for at GIS: My dedication towards the MUN Club and other extracurricular activities. And my magnificent spirit of a warrior.

Greatest achievement while at GIS: Best Delegate, Best Speaker, and Best Opening Speech Awards from MUN. Being a GIS Student Ambassador at International Emerging Leaders Conference. Honour Roll. Let’s just say I am also very proud of scoring my L6 T1 Mechanics Exam.

Best advice while at GIS and who gave it? : “Success is a decision.” -my sister, Aashna Mehta (GIS Batch of 2017).

What you will tell your 13-year-old self knowing what you know now: Keep going you are on the right track….uhhh maybe just study a little more you know.

A song that best describes your entire GIS experience: Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and of course from Bollywood Main Hoon Don from Don (1978).

Social media/contact information: @ww_.2002 (insta)

Any last remarks? : To be honest, it just feels like yesterday when I joined F2 and met so many interesting personalities. It’s been a long incredible journey and I can assure you that every single second of pestering teachers, annoying friends, bossing juniors, getting kicked out of the library, and singing Bollywood songs out loud was worth it. GIS would always hold a special place in my heart and I’d like to thank everyone especially the staff for always being there to guide us. It has truly been an honour. Alrighty GIS Toodles!!
