Today is World Book Day and to celebrate the day, our Junior School pupils along with the Library staff, dressed up in their favorite book character costume and engaged each other in the Virtual Learning Environment.
They enjoyed a video message from Jeff Kinney, a prolific children’s book author and cartoonist. He shared his experiences as an author which they found very exciting and informative. They then took turns sharing stories about their favourite book character and the lessons they had learnt from the stories they read. To crown the day, pupils were tasked to make lovely bookmarkers.
