During the summer holidays, Nana Afia Addae, a Form 5 Student of GIS was declared the overall winner of an essay competition dubbed “What’s Your Thing?”.
The competition, supported by Stanbic Bank, Ghana, was organized as part of a Ghana/China Cultural Exchange Programme under the auspices of both the John Agyekum Kuffour and Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundations.
The competition saw hundreds of applicants participate nationwide with Nana Afia’s essay emerging the most outstanding.
She was prized with a sponsored cultural tour to China. Well done Nana Afia! GIS is super proud of you! Continue to soar!
