Meet some of our Staff

Mrs. Donna Gordon -Apeagyei currently serves as the Ag. Infant School Vice Principal. She previously worked at the Infant School as a Principal Teacher, Year Coordinator and Assistant Vice Principal. She has taught children in schools in Uk since 2000 and has developed the singing talents of children and youth, through choirs, drama musicals and vocal training.

Dr. Kristine Marbell-Pierre is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist who worked with children in schools in New York, Massachusetts and Ghana since 2007. She currently works at GIS as the Head of Guidance and Counselling.

Angela van der Puije is the Special Education Needs Coordinator for the Secondary School. She has taught both general education and special education in Ghana and in the state of Minnesota over the past 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her two teenage children and exploring Ghana with her husband.

Alice Brobbey is a Year 2 teacher at Ghana International School. Prior to her time at G.I.S, she taught at the American School of the Hague in the Netherlands for fifteen years.

Selase Dzakamani is a senior Literature teacher at Ghana International School. Selase is an amateur photographer and when he is not teaching, he spends his time perfecting his hobby as well as travelling with family and friends.

Mr. Paul Baffoe is a Sociologist and a professional teacher with Ghana International School. He is an Assistant Examiner and Assessment Specialist for University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). His specialties include, but not limited to, Sociology of Education, Crime and Security, Sociology of Development and Sociology of Health and Wellness.
