This year, Sports Day was unique compared to previous years. The event took place on the Secondary School Campus. It was a scorching hot day on Wednesday, 16th of February, full of exciting sporting activities, such as track and field and for the first time, some new activities were added: sack race, lime and spoon, potato picking, and fill the bottle. Students, teachers, house patrons, and house captains showed team spirit by wearing their house colours and cheering on their teams. The most anticipated football match between the Class of 2022 and their Teachers lived up to everyone’s expectations. Every moment was thrilling and entertaining as teachers and staff members who participated shocked everyone with their phenomenal football skills. The principal, Dr Mary Ashun could not resist the temptation to play either!

Mr Amponsah-Mensah’s humorous commentary as various events unfolded on and off the field added even more excitement. It was a fun-filled day indeed.

Thank You to our Secondary School Sports Department for this brilliant initiative done! Congratulations to Purple House for garnering the most points to emerge winners and better luck next time to all the equally deserving houses. We look forward to yet another memorable sports day! Until then, let us all continue to keep safe.
