The Ghana International school is appealing to friends and family in and out of the GIS community to save the life of 8 year old Eryam Ekpe: a boy who suffers from a complex heart condition known as double outlet right ventricle (DORV). He urgently needs heart surgery to enable him live a normal life.

At the Infant School assembly today (29th November 2017), Mrs.Mary Ocansey, Head of Admissions at G.I.S and fundraising coordinator for the Children’s Heart Foundation appealed to pupils to encourage their parents to donate generously towards Eyram’s surgery.

Mary Ocansey reminded pupils of Vanessa Dzamesi, the most recent beneficiary to have received treatment in 2016 through our relentless efforts as a school. She is now a happy healthy little girl. She went on to urge pupils to once again come together to give the gift of life to Eyram this festive season.

All donations should be sent to the Vice Principals’ offices or the Welcome Centre of Ghana International School. Thank you.
