After a period of nominations, intense interviews, campaigns and voting, the 2019-2020 batch of Prefects and Students Representative Council were finally inducted at a special ceremony on Monday 4th February 2019.

The Principal, Dr Mary Ashun advised the new student leaders to set positive examples to effect change. She also thanked the outgoing Prefects for doing an amazing job during their tenure.

At GIS, we provide a system of democracy for our students to elect prefects annually thus teaching them all about leadership. A very big thank you to all our teachers who make this entire process possible each and every year and congratulations to our newly elected Prefects! We wish you all the best in your new roles!
