In commemoration of AU Day, a special assembly was put together by our Secondary School students to celebrate the day. They put together a splendid performance under the theme, Africa Before Colonization.
The event showcased a range of performances with the overall objective of educating everyone about a vibrant African Continent, its history, beauty, culture and resilience. This was effectively communicated through music, dance, poetry, art, as well as a question and answer segment.

“Although our history has been omitted from many textbooks…the truth still remains. We were a powerful and indestructible force rich in resources, land, agriculture, technology and education. Today, in the wake of AU Day, we take time to recognize all of our vast contributions.”

As an internationally diverse School with a spirit of understanding of each other and respect for diversity, we believe the knowledge we imbibe at school and in our environment shapes our ideas, worldview and personal self-confidence. What better way to reiterate the true African story to our students than on AU Day?
A special thank you to Dr. Kristine Marbell Pierre (Head of Guidance and Counselling), Ms. Omosede Eholor (Careers and College Counsellor) our Social Media Ambassadors (Maxwell Akrasi,Kafui Gadegbeku, Maame Peasah-Boadu,Nana Yirenkyi Ofori-Atta, Judah Detty, Joshuana Korankye-Ankrah and Ama Agyeiwaa Kyeremateng) and to all our students and teachers who helped make this celebration a success.#HappyAfricaDay
